Dashing ‘Round the Farm

A Holiday Ditty

By Ruppert Nurseries

Driving ‘round the farm

In a tired ATV

Turning on the charm

One last sale for me!

Up and down the rows

Where is that perfect tree?

This hold back pattern makes it tough, does anyone agree?!

OH!

Maple trees, Gingko trees, even Limber Pines

Oh we wish we’d planted more, in 2009!

Locust trees, poplar trees, Wisteria vine,

Oh we wish we’d planted more, in 2009!

The spade trucks run all day

Been like this all year long

We’ve had no time to spray

This seems our new theme song.

Nick says we have to prune

But still we need to dig,

We hope this winter won’t be rough, our next year’s budget’s big!

OH!

Maple trees, Gingko trees, even Limber Pines

Oh we wish we’d planted more, in 2009!

Locust trees, poplar trees, Wisteria vine,

Oh we wish we’d planted more, in 2009!

OH!

The holes have all been filled

Our fields they are so neat

New liner fields are tilled

Now ready for some wheat

We’re trying out new crops

To make our soil rich

But first we have to pull the truck out of the drainage ditch!

OH!

Maple trees, Gingko trees, even Limber Pines

Oh we wish we’d planted more, in 2009!

Locust trees, poplar trees, Wisteria vine,

Oh we wish we’d planted more, in 2009!

This year has been just great

Our sales were very strong

The field staff is first rate

Spring lasted way too long

Another year has gone

The holidays are here

We’re happy to have come this far, Goodbye another year!

OH!

Maple trees, Gingko trees, even Limber Pines

Oh we wish we’d planted more, in 2009!

Locust trees, poplar trees, Wisteria vine,

Oh we wish we’d planted more, in 2009!
